Operating collaborative highway maintenance alliances

We are founder members of LCHIG, a network of Local Authorities that has been established to develop and promote a new approach to highway asset management that encourages wider stakeholder involvement, creating a sustainable network for generations to come. And we’re not the only ones who believe this is the way forward. Supported by the Department for Transport, the Highways Maintenance Efficiency Programme has created a toolkit for other local authorities to follow.
